In this episode of Travel America, we journey to Middle MO.
We visit two very unique cities that have a very fascinating backstory, Jefferson City and Marceline, Missouri.
Jefferson City first attracts visitors with its historical significance, but you will soon notice the tree–lined bluffs and realize that it’s surrounded in scenic beauty as well. Visitors also have a vast selection of museums to visit, to allow them to step back in time, and see the role that this city played in shaping history.
The novelty city of Marceline, MO may seem like a very ordinary Missouri community. With a population of around 2,200 and a humble downtown area lined with jewelry shops, cafes and boutique shops, you could very well make your way through town and find Marceline to be very charming. But as you continue to make your way through town, you will soon find that this city is a standing monument for an American icon who has left an everlasting impression on the world.
